# North Beach geography

`north-beach.json` is the only geographic file loaded by the game. It contains
16 playable blocks, 12 junctions, 1,507 cropped building polygons, 229 background
street segments, Washington Square, three landmark anchors, and a 147 × 120
terrain grid. There are no geographic API calls during play.

The OSM-derived park and landmark records, including the Coit Tower height
annotation, are available under the [Open Database License (ODbL)
1.0](https://opendatacommons.org/licenses/odbl/1-0/). Their editable source and
processed records are provided here. OSM attribution also appears in the game’s
About panel. The data is used for a simplified game environment, not navigation
or surveying.

The production route additionally connects Columbus Avenue at Broadway to Jack Kerouac Alley using DataSF CNN 4291000. Gameplay uses 17 street segments and 13 nodes.
