We use PostHog's US-hosted service to understand website traffic and basic Fog Runner activity. We send page paths, referring domain, browser/device information, and game run starts, restarts and results (score, pizza collected, duration and outcome).
Automatic click capture, session recordings, heatmaps, surveys and automatic error/performance collection are disabled. We do not send form contents, names, email addresses, player coordinates, keystrokes, URL query strings or fragments. We do not identify players or create person profiles.
Analytics identifiers are kept in page memory rather than analytics cookies or browser storage. Reloading the page creates a new identifier, so the reports cannot reliably measure returning visitors across visits. PostHog receives network information necessary to deliver requests, including your IP address.
Analytics is skipped when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Blocking analytics does not affect the website or game. Fog Runner's separately saved sound preference remains on your device.
This notice covers this website, not the Today Is app. See Today Is privacy for that app. See PostHog's privacy policy for its service practices.
